Brief introduction to Ozluce HEPP
OZLUCE HEPP is situated on the border of İspir County in Erzurum Province in the Black Sea region, Turkey. The installed capacity is 2×18.9MW with design water head of 463.9m, design water flow of 14.5m3/s and 7m3/s. It is a vertical single shaft four-nozzle Pelton turbine. The completing electro-mechanical equipment supply contract was signed in August 2011 by Hangzhou Yatai Hydro Equipment Completing Co., Ltd., subsidiary of Hangzhou Regional Center For Small Hydropower(HRC), providing turbine, generator, excitation system, excitation cubicle, governor system and unit control and protection system.


OZLUCE HEPP is the first Pelton turbine installation project that Hangzhou Yatai provided to Turkey. It has a large unit installed capacity and requires high installation skills. From December 2012 to February 2014, the company sent a strong technical team, including mechanical, electrical and on-site translation liaison service staff. During the 14 months of field service, team members overcame many difficulties and completed the installation work successfully. The outcome not only impressed the owner, but also gained good reputation for China. OZLUCE HEPP completed acceptance in February 2014 by the Ministry of Energy, Turkey and it is currently running well.
