---On October 19, 2025, a five-member delegation from Rwanda Water Resources Board—the owner of Rwanda M Hydropower Project implemented by Hangzhou Yatai Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of HRC—paid a visit to Hangzhou, China. Representatives from Sinohydro Co., Ltd. accompanied.
During their visit, both sides had an in-depth discussion, and the delegates also visited relevant equipment manufacturers to investigate the equipment design, fabricating process and quality control measures. The delegates fully endorse the manufacturers recommended by us.
M Hydropower Station in Rwanda is installed with 2 turbine-generator sets with a total capacity of 1000 kW (2×500 kW). HRC is responsible for the detailed engineering design, supply of electro-mechanical equipment and on-site installation of this hydropower installation. The project is currently progressing very smoothly.
