---Entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by HRC, Seminar on Hydropower Station Development and Medium & Small-sized Hydropower Station Management for Uzbekistan was held successfully in Hangzhou from October 25th to November 13th, 2019. 23 officials and technicians from Uzbekistan Hydraulic Energy Co., Ltd came to attend the seminar. Based on the concerted efforts of all lecturers, participants and HRC training team, this 20-day seminar has achieved fruitful results. This is the 117th international training/seminar programs implemented by HRC and also the second bilateral training/seminar programs held for Uzbekistan with topic of water and hydropower .
During the seminar, lectures covered the topics of China's advanced technology and practical experience in the field of hydropower station development and medium & small-sized hydropower station management. Site visits to the world-famous Three Gorges Project, the typical hydropower stations and some equipment manufacturers were arranged. Besides, visit to the city of Shanghai helped the participants to know better about the great achievements after the reform and opening-up policy. Meanwhile, a diversity of cultural activities enriched the participants' lives here in China. Furthermore, the representative from Uzbekistan delivered country report on hydropower station development and medium & small-sized hydropower station management. Based on full exchange and sharing on technical experience and specific practice, in-depth discussion on future cooperation was carried out between the participants and HRC staff.
Mr. Fan Aihua, Division Chief from Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and Mr. Xu Jincai, Director General of HRC, were present at the closing ceremony, and awarded the certificates to all participants. On behalf of all the participants, Mr. Olimov Alisher Norimboevich, General Manager of Uzbekistan Hydraulic Energy Co., Ltd, gave high appraised and full affirmation to the seminar. Its successful fulfillment laid a solid foundation for the friendly cooperation in the field of hydropower station development and medium & small-sized hydropower station management between the two countries.(2019-11-26)
