---On November 17, 2017, a 10-person delegation headed by Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong, Deputy Director General of Institute of Energy (IE) under Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam paid a visit to HRC. Director General of HRC Dr. Xu Jincai gave a warm reception to welcome Vietnamese guests.
As a former participant of HRC who participated in our training workshop entrusted by China's Ministry of Commerce in 1998, Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong has deep feelings for our Center. During the visit, Vietnamese guests fully understood the achievements obtained by HRC in recent years especially in capacity building, inter-governmental cooperation, engineering technical services, etc. They highly commented HRC's engineering technical strength and training achievements, and hoped to send staff to participate in our trainings every year to resolve outstanding issues faced by Vietnam in SHP development such as environmental protection, operation & management, and so on. HRC also hoped that on the basis of good cooperation relationships between the governments of China and Vietnam, extensive cooperation would be carried out together by HRC and IE in the fields of human resources training, joint research, demonstration & promotion, etc.
