---On 22nd August, entrusted by Sino-hydro 14th Co., Ltd., the Training Course on Hydropower Operation & Maintenance for Moragahakanda Development Project in Sri Lanka was successfully held in Hangzhou. Five senior administrators from Sri Lanka attended the two-month training course which achieved remarkable results.
The training integrated professional lectures and field studies together. The lectures covered all important parts of hydropower development, including planning, operation, management, maintenance and so on. The field studies gave priorities on practice, including not only site visits to typical hydropower stations and equipment manufacturers, but also studies in hydropower institution and laboratories and on-site learning of simulating operation, E/M equipment assembly and disassembly, trouble-shooting, electrical testing and operational management etc. This training course resulted from the joint effort and the close cooperation of both Chinese and foreign sides, and all the participants benefited a lot.(2016-08-30)
