---On August 12, 2016 Training Course on Small Hydropower Technology for Rwanda wa successfully concluded in Kigali, Rwanda. Based on the concerted efforts of the Rwandan co-organizer, all lecturers, participants and HRC training team, the 30-day foreign-aid training program entrusted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce has achieved fruitful results.
The closing ceremony was held in The Integrated Polytechnic Regional Center (IPRC), Kigali.. Mr. Zhang Liyong, Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Embassy of China in Rwanda, Secretary Ms. Peng Jie, Mr. Jean Bosco Mugiraneza, CEO of Rwanda Energy Group, Mr. Benimana Jean Claude, Vice Pinciple of IPRC, and Mr. Huang Jianping, Deputy Director of HRC attended the closing ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. Mr. Kirenga Emmanuel from Energy Development Corporation Ltd.. (EDCL) of Rwanda Energy Group delivered a speech on behalf of all the participants. The training course gained strong support and highly appreciation from Rwandan side, and it is hoped that based on the training courses, local training center can be set up so as to promote more bilateral cooperation.
Counselor Zhang Liyong awarded the certificates on behalf of the Ministry of Commerce of China to the participants. Representatives of the participants presented gifts to HRC leaders and staffs to express their gratitude. HRC also prepared souvenirs to Rwandan side for their support during the training course.
