---On September 20, 2010, the first
Training Workshop on Related Standards of Substituting
SHP for Fuel which was sponsored by the Bureau of Rural
Hydropower and Electrification Development of Ministry
of Water Resources (MWR) and undertaken by NRIRE (HRC)
successfully concluded in Hangzhou. 79 participants from
13 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) such
as Jilin, Hunan, Guizhou, Shanxi, etc. took part in the
4-day training workshop. The Bureau of Rural Hydropower
and Electrification of MWR attached great importance to
this training workshop, and the Director General Mr. Tian
Zhongxing came all the way to Hangzhou to attend the opening
ceremony and delivered an important speech. Division Chief
of SHP for Fuel of the Bureau, Mr. Li Rufang and Deputy
Director of NRIRE, Mr. Xu Jingcai were also present at
the opening ceremony.
NRIRE implemented the training workshop
in strict accordance with the requirements of the Bureau
of Rural Hydropower and Electrification Development of
MWR in terms of the training programmes, and the experienced
experts were invited to give lectures. The training is
helpful for participants to learn and apply the principles,
policies and relative standards of the construction of
SHP stations for fuel, and to improve the level of construction
of the substitute SHP stations in terms of the planning,
design and management of construction and operation. During
the training period, the participants shared their experience
with each other and also paid a visit to Nanshan Hydropower
Station in Shaoxing.
From 25 to 30 September, NRIRE will
undertake the second training workshop for the engineering
designers, constructors and operators engaging in the
construction of SHP substitute.(2010-09-26)
