opening-up, China maintains a strong momentum in small
hydropower development, making important contributions
to the economic and social development, especially in
pushing the local economic development, helping lift poor
people out of poverty, preserving the ecological environment
and safeguarding the grid safety. In order to keep record
of the precious documentation, glorify the development
process of China's small hydropower and note down the
important events, with the approval of related authorities,
RHEDB will take in charge of the compilation of the book
60 Years of China's SHP, which will thoroughly reflect
the development of China's SHP since the founding of the
People's Republic of China and paying tribute to the great
achievement of China's SHP cause. The book is also to
be a gift for the 60th anniversary of our great motherland.
