---On Feb. 18th, 2009, organized by
the Rural Hydropower & Electrification Development
Bureau of MWR, a report meeting on Ecological Compensation
Mechanism in Developing Hydro Energy Resources was held
in HRC. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Xing Yuanyue,
deputy director of RHEDB and Mr. Tian Zhongxing, director
of RHEDB, attended the meeting and addressed. Related
experts from RHEDB, National Research Institute for Rural
Electrification (HRC), Tsinghua University, Hohai University,
etc. attended the meeting. The meeting spoke positively
of the primary achievement of the research project, provided
some proposals for revising the report and laid out plans
