---2008 Training Workshop on Small
Hydropower which has been sponsored by MOFCOM is opened
as scheduled this morning at HRC. This is the 50th international
training workshop that HRC has conducted.
The workshop will introduce the SHP
technology and experience in China, and participants will
have chance to conduct study tours to various SHP stations
and manufacturers locally. The visits to Nanjing and Shanghai
will enable participants to see the results of China's
opening and reforming.
It is expected that around 60 participants
of over 30 countries from Asia, Africa, South Pacific,
Latin America and Eastern Europe will be attending the
40-day training workshop.(2008-05-15)
