Indian Guest Inquires 2005 International SHP Training

   ---Indian Guest Mr.Bhargava, Vice President of Ballarpur Industries Limited, paid a visit to HRC on 24 May and inquired HRC's small hydro power training programs to participants from developing countries this year. Ballarpur Industries Limited is a large Indian company manufacturing hydropower equipment including generators and tranformers.

   Mr. Pan, HRC's training coordinator received the guest and briefed to him HRC's training programs for this year.

   Two training workshops on SHP will be conducted as sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce this year. One is the SHP training workshop to be held in 2-26 Sept. for African countries. The working language will be in French. The other is to be held from 20 Oct. to 28 Nov for Asian-Pacific developing countries. The working language is in English. Those interested are welcome to apply early and may contact directly the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in each related developing country for Application Form and other relevant information.(2005-05-24)
