1990, a book titled "SHP Training Material" was
published by the Publishing House of Hohai University. Being
voted a main training material in SHP sector, it has played
a significant role in SHP engineering management and professional
training since then.
However, with the social development
and hydropower technical advancement, the appeals for a
revision of this book become more and more pressing. Therefore,
organized by the Publishing House of Hohai University, and
with the joint efforts of the qualified experts from Hangzhou
Regional Center (Asia-Pacific) for Small Hydro Power (HRC),
Zhejiang College of Water Resource and Hydro Power, and
Anhui Provincial Department of Water Resource, a revised
edition named "Updated SHP Training Material"
is compiled in term of the new technology and norms.
This series include five volumes,
i.e. "Operation Norms and Management of SHP Stations",
"Operation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment",
"Operation and Maintenance of Turbo-generator Units
and the Auxiliaries", "Operation and Maintenance
of Low-voltage Turbo-generator Equipment" and "Computerized
Supervision Technology for SHP Stations". Strictly
based on the norms and standards, and accorded with the
actuality, it not only covers all the issues of SHP management,
but also introduces the new technology and new concept emerged
currently. The books will be published in November 2004,
expecting to serve as a training material either for new
employees of SHP stations or for SHP vocational schools.
In addition, it will also be of kind reference to SHP professionals.(2004-10-31)
