---The
5th conference of Zhejiang Provincial Society of Hydroelectric
Engineering was held in Hangzhou from 29th to 31st March.
Ms. Chen, Deputy Director of HRC, was selected as a member
of the new council, and Mr. Xu was commended as an active
member for his hard work.
Director-general made a speech
on the work of the fourth session. The conference examined
the work of the fourth session, delegates discussed the
amendment of the charter and prepared the list of candidates
for the next session. After the approval of the working
report and charter amendment; advanced groups and active
members were commended. Also, managing director, director,
assistant director and secretary-general were elected.
Furthermore, some experts from Zhejiang Electric Power
Company were specially invited to give specific presentation
on "Current Situation and Prospect of Power Grid
