25 Oct table tennis competition among the international
participants of 2002 TCDC SHP training workshop, HRC retired
staff and HRC working staff was held at HRC. Out of expectation,
HRC's retired staff demonstrated high skill and capacity,
even though at their senior age. With a bottle of liquor,
the international participants seemed instilled with more
encouragement and energy. One international participant
served as one of the referees at the competition. Every
one admired his ability to speak the scores in Chinese fluently,
as he learnt it just within the past two weeks. Almost the
whole day was filled with joy and excitement. Awards of
the championship will be made at the next party at HRC in
early Nov.(2002-10-25)
