Xikou Pumped Storage

in Xikou, Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province, this plant
adopted a shaft-type powerhouse, with the installed
capacity of 2กม40MW, the design water head 240m and maximum
pumping lift 274.4m. All the electro-mechanical equipment
was imported, with the microcomputer-based control &
protection system from ABB. Yatai Institute took the
responsibility for its design and technical consultation
with foreign manufacturers. This power plant was put
into operation in 1997. |
