| Information
management system for reservoirs is based on the computer
network technology, which includes the server and local
computers for sharing data and other resources. This
system includes dam monitoring, hydrology information,
hydropower station monitoring, valve monitoring and
video monitoring etc. Each hydrological collection site
shall communicate with the main station by the ultra
shortwave, and other sites communicate with the main
station with cable connection. The server and local
computers are connected by the 10M/100M Ethernet network.
The headquarters and the local hydropower authorities
can be linked with the server by optical fiber, wireless
communication or by telephone line through MODEM. This
system uses the web browser to view the system information. |
